Hot Cocoa Jars

What a crazy week! I have been so busy. It was the last week of school for the kids wth lots of extras going on. Up until last night, I thought Christmas was next Saturday and not Friday.

For the teachers in my daughter’s class, we did a collection for Target gift cards. (I made the gift card holders and will be showing you those soon.) I wanted to do something extra, so I made up some dry hot cocoa mix for them.

Each teacher or aide received a jar full of the mix. I decorated them simply. The side had a Nestie snowflake with their name. The pretty ribbon is from Michaels.

The top had a scalloped Nestie circle in Brilliant Blue. The Bashful Blue was cut as a double, but with the Nestie just slightly over the edge to create a fold. I then embossed the front with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. Inside I added two circles – one with directions for the cocoa mix and the other the sentiment. It turned out well and was received well, especially since we are supposed to get quite a bit of snow this weekend.
