Dollar Spot Thanksgiving

Are you ready for the Thanksgiving holiday? I think we are pretty good — I did shopping last week, determined not to have to go in to our crazy-on-a-normal day grocery store and the turkey is in the fridge thawing. We keep things pretty traditional and since the kids aren’t big fans of the traditional elements, we’ll likely have some dinosaur nuggets present at our table. LOL!

Back in October, I hosted a swap for kid cards and this was my second card. I used Paper Pretties Season of Thanksgiving for a great fall card. I’m sure many of you have stopped by the Target $ Spot a time or ten. I picked up some of their paper earlier this fall and found this pattern to be a great fit with this Sophia. This was a pretty straightforward layout. I colored Sophia with Copics and trimmed her dress with some Martha Stewart Cinnabar glitter. I doubled up two ribbons and embellished them with Mint Chocolate Dew Drops.

I hope to be inking up Sophia’s pilgrim counterpart tomorrow. I want to make a mate for my candle and hope to have them on the table on Thursday. I guess I better get crackin’!
