This week’s Paper Pretties challenge was to use fun foam on your card. I had to laugh since we always have a bit of fun foam around our house. Unfortunately, it is usually all over the floor or on a chair or under your shoe. You get the idea. I had an idea in mind for this card — especially since I had just recently bought Snowflake Kisses during the Paper Pretties ABC sale. While in Dollar Tree yesterday, I picked up some foam sheets, which gave me another idea.
Using my Nestabilites Create a Flake dies, I cut out a pair of snowflakes. I topped each of them with a silver snowflake brad from Oriental Trading. Sophia is colored with Copics. I initially colored her skirt pink and then decided I didn’t like it. I colored over the RV10 and RV02 with my BG01 marker and it has a very slight tie-dyed look to it. Her snow angel is dazzling in Dazzling Diamonds. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Retreat — a great source for ribbons at very reasonable prices.
