L’Shana Tovah

In honor of Rosh Hashanah, I made this card for a friend and her family. The Mazel Tov set from PaperTrey Ink has some very nice sentiments & images of Judaica. I used four of the sentiments from the set to create backgrounds — Love Health Peace; L’Shana Tovah; Rosh Hashanah and Sweet Year. Wishing someone a sweet year is a traditional Rosh Hashanah greeting and L’Shana Tovah is another traditional greeting, meaning “A Good Year”. The image is the shofar, a horn which is traditionally blown on Rosh Hashanah.

Inside I stamped the sentiment “May you be inscribed for a good year” and then the shofar again. I stamped off the shofar once prior to stamping inside.
