Goodnight Moon

Goodnight Moon was a favorite story of my kids. They loved it so much that the book is no longer. As soon as I saw this adorable moon from Doodle Palace, I instantly thought of that book. Not only do I think it would an adorable image for baby cards, but I also thought of those who are sleep challenged.

One of the fantastic perks of digi stamps is that you can resize them. I made up a cute little tea bag holder & card set featuring the moon, resizing him 3 times. PaperTrey Ink’s Spring Rain & Aqua Mist were perfect colors for this project.

My Quickie Glue Pen is such a wonderful tool — I am convinced it takes the mess out of glitter. Each cloud is covered in Martha Stewart Crystal Fine glitter and the stars have Martha Stewart glitter in Feldspar and Aquamarine Crystal. Of course, the moon is colored with Copics and to top off his little hat, I added a Dew Drop in Lily Pad.

The inside of the square card has the littlest of image in the lower corner. I really like that I was able to print him 3 times, each a different size to fit the needs of my project.

I especially like this little mini version. Mini versions always make the full size version extra cute!

The tea bag holder is based off the tutorial & challenge on SCS — found here. Inside of the tea bag holder, I included the last stanza of Goodnight Moon and a packet of Chamomile tea.
