Happy Birthday Elmo!

Saturday was my son’s 2nd birthday. He is just discovering Elmo now — his older sister has steered the viewing choices to her own preferences. He calls him “Mo.” We didn’t do a big party — just a cookie cake for our neighbors and a close friend. Of course, I had to scramble for a card that morning.

I pulled out my Presents for Elmo stamp and paired his bright colors with a piece of paper from DCWV’s Scrapbook Kit in a Stack – Birthday pack, some Real Red and Ballet Blue. Since this was a boy’s card, I couldn’t use ribbon and went with a couple of star brads to hold my ribbon tag in place. The sentiment is from There She Goes Mix & Match Cupcake. A few Nestie stars popped up along the side completed it.
