Digi Dump Truck

Our daughter is invited to a birthday party today. The little boy is turning 4 and his invitation had a picture of a bulldozer on it. We don’t know the family or the little boy very well, so we went with the bulldozer/truck idea for a gift. We bought a Tonka bulldozer and a John Deere story about Barney Bulldozer. I didn’t have any truck stamps, so I figured a digital stamp would do.

This isn’t my first digi stamp, but I can say these are a great option when money is tight or you need a particular image. I bought the dump truck stamp from Squigglefly. I resized the truck a bit to fit my card. I went with yellow & black for the colors — the bulldozer is yellow & black as well. The truck is colored with Copics. I used some Crystal Effects for the windows and a bit of Platinum Stickles for the dirt. I stamped “Andreas’ Truck Co” with a Studio G mini alphabet set that I just received from my fantastic “not-so-secret-sister” Wendy. I mounted the image on a mat of black embossed with the Traffic Jam Cuttlebug folder — also from my sis, Wendy. The Glitter Dots added just the right amount of embellishment for a little boy’s card. Inside I added a mat with a computer printed sentiment of “Just truckin’ along to wish you Happy Birthday.”
