Red, White & Blue Woo-Hoo!

This is the last of my cards that I made for SOA. This was for the Gina K Designs sketch. I used Woo Hoo from Gina K. It was yet another set that had yet to see ink. Now, I’ve never been a huge fan of glitter. I love the way it looks, hate the mess it makes. When I stamped the fireworks, they just screamed for glitter. How could I not add some?

Since I am not a huge glitter fan, my selection is really, really pathetic. I have a container of Dazzling Diamonds, some chunky el cheapo stuff you use on your Christmas stockings and one jar of Martha Stewart Lapis Lazuli. I do have a Quickie Glue Pen, which is the BEST thing. I had used my DD a bit before, but that was it. When I finished applying all of the colors, I could see how wonderful the Martha glitter was and how, well el cheapo, the red was. I now know what I will be buying with 40% off coupons at Michaels. It also helps that these firework images are perfect for glitter application.
