Birthday Wishes for Mom

Today is a big birthday for my mom — she turned 60. She’s been so looking forward to it and she certainly doesn’t look 60. She doesn’t only look young, she acts young for her age. One thing she is looking forward to is being that much closer to retirement. Hopefully, when that day comes, we will be closer in distance than we are now.

I wanted her card to be special and to make a statement. There are too many stamps in my collection that haven’t seen ink and Papertrey Ink’s Guide Lines was one of them. I stamped the grid and design element on Raspberry Fizz paper with Raspberry Fizz ink. I wanted this card to pop, so I added a rhinestone to each intersection on the grid. The sentiment is from Papertrey’s Out on a Limb Sentiments. The inside is a repeat of the black & raspberry fizz, with a smaller oval with Happy Birthday.

Stamps: Papertrey Ink Guide Lines, Out on a Limb Sentiments
Paper: Papertrey White & Raspberry Fizz, Basic Black
Ink: Raspberry Fizz, Memento Basic Black
Other Stuff: Papertrey True Black grosgrain, rhinestones, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
