This was such a hard card to photograph. Not helping matters is the lack of sunlight and abundance of clouds. This was about the 15th try. It’s better than the 14th, but still not great.
Anyway, I have apparently been on a polka dot kick lately — or maybe it is that I have an abundance of polka dots to choose from. For this card, I used the Petals & Stems and Beautiful You sets from Verve. Each circle is cut with my Nestabilites and the white circles are embossed as well. Believe it or not, I have had my Cuttlebug for over two years and Nesties for about a year and this was the first time I have embossed with them. The flower centers are popped up with dimensionals, as are the circles. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder (probably my favorite) and the Fiskars Threading Water border punch. My only complaint with the border punches is that you end up with lots of little bits all over the place. Inside I used another piece of white with a piece of the polka dot ribbon at the top & threading water punch at the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by!
